Google Fiber, Ultra High Speed Residential Internet Service

Yesterday Google announced Google Fiber, an ultra high speed Internet service that will soon be providing Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri with gigabit (1,000Mb/sec) connections. Service options will include gigabit Internet, internet and Google Fiber TV, and free Internet at a slower connection speed. Starting in the fall the service will be rolled out by neighborhood, with areas that have the highest number of pre-registered users being connected first. Until then, the public can preview the service at the Fiber Space in Kansas City, Missouri.
